Connection Is The New Luxury
What makes something luxury?
Is it scarcity?
Desirability?
Or maybe something polished so bright you can check yourself out in it.
We call gold rare, though hundreds of kilos of it are mined every day.
And yet conversations are treated as ordinary,
as if the chance of being understood isn't the rarest thing there is.
In a time where everything is louder, faster, easier —
where attention is currency and
vanity is spoken in fluency —
where people walk past each other, not even sharing a glance,
only reach for their phones, hoping for the next chance
to feel something real again.
Gold and diamonds are forever.
People aren't.
Moments aren't.
Connection isn't.
And perhaps that's what makes it the truest luxury we have.
